Our Mission

Preserving a legacy that the record books left out.

Minnesota has produced exceptional African American basketball players who helped shape the Twin Cities — on the court, in their neighborhoods, and across the country. Our work is to make sure those stories are remembered, celebrated, and passed on.

01 — The Problem

Histories overlooked.

The contributions of African American basketball players from Greater Minnesota have been routinely under-documented. Their names belong in the record — and in the public memory of the place they helped define.

02 — Our Solution

A living archive, an annual ceremony, and a path forward.

We induct legends each year, fund the next generation through the Keith Davis Scholarship, and build a permanent library of stories, photos, and video so this history is accessible to anyone, anywhere.
